Our talk this week was presented by Laura Cowie who is a serving Police Officer with Devon and Cornwall Constabulary.
Laura spoke about Cyber Crime and explained how this is a major criminal activity not just in the UK but across the world.
She talked about identity theft, Romance Fraud and numerous other crimes conducted online.
Laura emphasised the importance of maintaining strong passwords on all of our online activities and ensuring that we do not share passwords and PIN numbers, etc under any circumstances.
The large number of questions asked by those present demonstrated how valuable everyone found this presentation.
