Our Members quickly became aware of the in depth knowledge demonstrated by Mike Rowley in his presentation on HMS Pathfinder.
This was a detailed and interesting presentation which explained the background to the start of the First World War followed by the competing developments of the German and British navies.
HMS Pathfinder was the first Royal Naval warship sunk by a German U-boat and Mike was able to conclude his presentation by talking about his team dive on the wreck.
