Peter Lewis was our speaker this week and his talk was “Seventeen Years as an Army Education Officer.”

Peter give a very informative introduction focused on the history of the Royal Army Educational Corps.
From its creation in the 18th Century to its modern day role in the Army. Peter told us about his interesting career in the Army following his earlier work as a teacher. He became a Major with a very diverse range of responsibilities. In addition to this he was a very successful athlete.
This was an interesting talk that used the speakers career as a means of telling us about a little known Corps of the Army.
