Our first meeting of 2023 took place today with an attendance of 23.
In view of the very cold weather this was much better than it might have been.
Our speaker was Brian Golding who presented an illustrated talk entitled “The History of Weather Forecasting”.
Brian’s talk provided an excellent start to our new season and it was very well received by the members present. His deep professional knowledge of the subject was quickly revealed and the members responded with many questions being posed at the end.
All in all a great start to our club year.
