On a sunny morning in Paignton we invited John Miles to give us his talk on “Sewage Treatment can be Fun!”.
Armed with the latest in technical aides, he lambasted us for almost an our on a subject which is obviously dear to his heart.
Starting with a song and ending with a joke, he described the traditional processes for sewage treatment, interspersed with anecdotes and one-liners.
Altogether an enjoyable morning with this straight-talking enthusiast. We were grateful that he didn’t bring samples……..
