Our speaker today was David Ramsden MBE whose presentation was “Climate and Ecological Crisis – What’s All the Fuss About?”
This was a very professional presentation from a very professional speaker. A huge amount of information was presented in order to explain the science behind the argument that global warming is man made.
This was a challenging talk for many of us. Unfortunately, politics was introduced by the speaker and this detracted from the message for many of us.
Occasionally some members felt that they were being lectured to but maybe sometimes we need to be challenged with uncomfortable issues. This talk certainly did that!
