Steam Train to Kingswear, Ferry to Dartmouth, Pleasure Boat to Totnes, Bus to Paignton
This trip was organised by Chris Martin our new Chairman, and what a delight it turned out to be!
Our Speaker Finder Paul Young reports:-
We met at Paignton Station and boarded the steam train to Kingswear following which we crossed over to Dartmouth on the passenger ferry. An enjoyable few hours was then had by all shopping followed by your own choice of a lunch venue.
Later we boarded one of the tourist boats for a relaxing and beautiful cruise up the river to Totnes.
Finally, we boarded an open top bus for the journey back to Paignton. The weather was wonderful to us and this made a great day trip for the club all the more enjoyable.
