At the AGM attended by 26 members Roy Matthews, the current President, stood down from his position after many years serving the Club as Treasurer, Chairman, and President.
Roy will continue as an “ordinary” Member but no doubt his experience will be invaluable to assist in the running of our Club in the years ahead.
Barry Ross then took over the role as Chairman to welcome new Committee Members Peter Strickland, Geoff Williams and Barry Hayden.
He then announced a proposal by the Committee to vary the Membership Fees by removing the weekly fee for coffee and biscuits and increasing the Annual Fee to £200 pa, to be paid “up front”.
By a show of hands the proposal was agreed by almost 100% of the Members.
Barry presented Chris Martin with his badge as the new Chairman of the club.
