Details of the: 2024 Paignton Probus ‘Round Robin’ Club Outing.
The Date: Tuesday 28th May 2024.
Departing from: Paignton Bus Station at 10.00 a.m.
Arriving at: Totnes Steamer Quay at approximately 10.20 a.m.
** For those who wish to (&, is not included in the price): Coffee, Tea, or cold drinks, plus, Cake, or, snack, on Steamer Quay, or, in Totnes Town – Just be careful of your time to catch the Cruise Boat!
Cruise Boat Departs Totnes Steamer Quay: At 11.45 a.m.
Arriving: Dartmouth Town at 13.15 hours (1.15 P M).
Lunch: For those wishing to (&, is not included in the price). A Table(s) has been pre-booked in the ‘Royal Castle’ at 13.45 hours (1.45 P M) it overlooks the small harbour.
I, (The Chairman), have booked this for 15 people, therefore, please give your name and number of you, to John Osmond a.s.a.p. (This is Half-Term week, so will fill up quickly!).
Free Time.
Passenger Ferry Crossing from Dartmouth to Kingswear (For Train): Meet at the Slipway Bridge at 16.00 hours (4 P M). They (Dartmouth Steam Railway) say, allow 30 minutes to get across the river!
The Train to return us to Paignton: Leaves Kingswear at 16.40 hours (4.40 P M)
We are then due to Arrive in Paignton: At 17.05 hours (5.05 P M).
The Price for the trip excluding all drinks / beverages and food is £39.50 per person.
This covers: The Bus, Cruise, Passenger Ferry, and Train.
Note 1: Should we exceed 20 people in total, we will get a small discount. Should this happen, the difference will be refunded to all that have paid their £39.50 p.p.
Note 2: As this event is happening during the ‘School Half-Term Holiday Week’, the lady at the Dartmouth Steam Railway and River Boat Company advised that we book / pay early!
Therefore: Please pay John Osmond by Wednesday 15th May ! We will then purchase all the tickets, thereby reserving our seats on the Bus, Cruise Boat, and Train on this day.
