Paul writes
Today our speaker was Phil Evans who is a long standing member of our club. Phil is a presenter who has a particular interest in military history and he has developed a whole host of talks related to that subject area.
Today, Phils presentation was entitled “The Battle of Trafalgar” covering the lead up to the battle, the principal officers on each side, the unfolding of the battle and the final outcome.
This was a very detailed talk and that was particularly welcomed by the membership. This resulted in a large number of questions being asked at the end. Overall, this was an excellent talk which was interesting, detailed and highly informative.
