For the second year running our President Chris Martin led nine members and their wives on a visit to Exeter to coincide with the annual Christmas Market.

Last year’s trip was duplicated again this year but without the distraction of snow . Once again we all travelled together on the train from Paignton to Exeter Central which was warm and comfortable.
Arriving at Exeter we split up for a short while enabling members to look around the Market or to venture elsewhere before taking up residence together again at the Cote restaurant for a leisurely lunch before returning home on the train in the Dimpsey.
This year, as stated previously, it did not snow, and neither did it rain, though it was pretty cold in the open air.
Everyone had an enjoyable day out and we all complimented and thanked President Chris for organising the trip.
