This week’s review is written by our Speaker Finder Paul Young.
This week (Wednesday 15th January) was our first meeting of 2025. Our speaker was Ray Helm and his talk was entitled “Making Changes in a Dangerous World”. This was the second presentation given to us by Ray who was formerly a senior Police Officer. Following retirement he carried out a range of voluntary work all over the world responding to disaster zones and helping lead emergency response teams.
Ray’s extensive experience enables him to draw on a great deal of interesting material for his presentation. This resulted in a well attended meeting with two potential new members being present.
